2015 Beach Vacation- Day Three: Seals in La Jolla, Lunch in San Clemente

We left San Diego on Tuesday morning and made our way to Newport Beach.  We made a stop in La Jolla to see the seals on the beach.  It was was cold and rainy, but kind of cool to see these animals in the wild.

We continued north and made another stop in San Clemente to see the beach with the train.  We fell in love with the beach here.  San Clemente was is so pretty, maybe it helped a lot that it was such a quiet day.  There was literally, not one other person on the beach.  We walked the pier and the boys tried to catch an injured pigeon who wouldn't fly away.  They were so intrigued by this pigeon.  We ate lunch at a little pizza shop with the ocean across the street.  The boys loved the train and being so up close to it.  We kept thinking it was ready to leave, but it didn't move the entire time we were there, though the guard kept bonging and lowering the arms across the road.

We made it to Newport Beach and spent the afternoon on the beach.
