Wheeler Farm
Mama took us to the farm with our neighbor and best buddy Nash. We LOVED it. Mackay was so happy the whole time. There was a sheep walking back and forth baa-ing and it scared Nolan a little bit, but they both loved the huge disgusting way more scary pigs. We had a lot of fun and saw lots of animals.

Utah's Hoagle Zoo!!
This year for Mother's Day daddy decided to take us all to the Zoo! We had so much fun! We had to keep the boys in their strollers because they are still too little to know to keep close to us, to listen to us, to keep a hold of our hands, and really to walk in general, so they weren't able to see everything, but boy they sure had fun.
We saw lots of monkeys, a few who were just chatty, the boys thought they were pretty funny. We saw the back of the elephants, they weren't very exciting and a rhinoceros, who was also quite boring We saw seals, which Mackay kept calling doggies so, we suppose we saw swimming doggies, ha ha. They loved them. We were able to get up to the window half under water and watch them swim by. Boy that was exciting. They were awesome. Then we saw the polar bear. This bear, is awesome. So friendly. She'd swim up to the glass and pop up and look at everyone, the fall on her back and swim backwards, turn over and come back and do it all over again. The boys laughed and laughed. They loved her. Then we went around and saw the tiger, who was sleeping, the leopard, who was also sleeping, and an orangutan, who was sleeping. We went back through the cats and the leopard was walking around, but he was too low for the boys to see. We went back to see the polar bear again and by this time the people had packed in. There was a huge crowd watching the polar bear who was still entertaining all of her new friends. We found an opening by a window quite a ways away from her show and we stopped there hoping maybe she'd come over for a minute. She did. The boys squealed with laughter. She stayed by us for just a minute or two then went back to entertaining. That was enough. As we headed back to the front of the zoo to head home, we stopped by the gorillas. There were two rooms for the gorillas, a small one and a large one. We found a small opening at the window for the small room and there was one small gorilla just sitting there, and finally he climbed up on a ledge and lay down. Just as we were getting ready to leave all the people in front of the bigger window started laughing and this little gorilla ran into the small room with a flattened cardboard box. He stood and stared at the opening to the bigger room when all of a sudden a HUGE gorilla appeared in the door. He stared at the smaller monkey for a minute and finally came into the smaller room. The smaller gorilla kept antagonizing the bigger one until he finally chased after him. They went back and forth between the two rooms, with the bigger gorilla pounding his chest as he came into the smaller room. The twins laughed and laughed as the monkeys ran from room to room. They put on quite a show.
It was lunch time and we decided to leave. We had seen everything that was not closed for construction. It had been two hours and he had lots of fun. The zoo is quite expensive, but totally worth it for the looks on their little faces. The joy they experience is well worth the high price.
