The kids woke up early one morning and were getting restless so mama took them out to wait for everyone else to wake up. We walked out on the pier, the came back to chase pigeons and drive their new airplanes around. A crazy man came by and gave the boys pieces of a cookie and helped them feed the birds. He was a little nuts and I was so happy when everyone finally met up with us to go get doughnuts.
We drove out to Little Corona Del Mar to see the tide pools. We didn't really see much, must not have been the right time of the year because we got there early. The rocky beach was fun though. The boys enjoyed throwing rocks into the water and watching the waves splash up over the rocks.
Then we drove back to Newport and spend the rest of the day playing in the sand.
Don't mind mama's eye, there was sand stuck in it all night.
