May

May was busy... well... the last half of May.  We started out the month with all of the boys getting sick.  Poor daddy had a rotten birthday, spent laying in bed.  :(  We were trying to keep the baby in until she at least got one round of shots, but as we got about a week away from her appointment, we, especially the boys, got a little cooped up.

 We went to the farm, but right as we stepped out of the car it started to rain.  It was light enough that we decided to brave it, but after about five minutes, it was a downpour so we ran back to the car and decided to take the boys to an indoor play place.  They were still so excited "mom, we saw so many animals!"  Actually son, you saw a goat.

A few days later, we took a trip down to City Creek and let the boys play on the dinosaurs.  They love when they are able to let loose and just run and climb.  They really needed to get out of the house.

We finally got her shots, and though we are still a little apprehensive, we feel safer about taking the boys out.  Luckily it's summer, so we can do some stuff outside and not worry quite so much.

Darcy had her 2 month appointment and weighed in at 14 lbs 5 oz.  99th percentile.  She's been wearing 6 month sized clothes for about a month already, she only wore a newborn sized outfit once... on her way home from the hospital, and it was still too small.  Already wearing size 2 diapers, but will probably be moving up soon.  She's still super sleepy and eats a ton, but she's full of smiles when she's awake.  She's such a good baby and we adore her.  She's the perfect addition to our family.

                 It was SO hard, but they are so cute.

 Also... the boys have learned to dress themselves.

 The boys got some books to read one morning, but had to say prayers first (because that's what we do before bedtime stories). 

 This outfit is 3 month size, she's one month old.  

Mackay chose her headband, "Bister will love this blue flower, mom."

 "Mom, we made you a surprise, come see..."  "It's a tower!"

 

 Sucked a hickey into her own arm.                     

 Mom asked them to clean up, so they needed a rest.                Her little fists...

 

 

 

 

 

 Learning to use scissors.

Daddy started having them "surprise mommy" by getting ready for bed before she comes into the room.  This night, daddy was gone, and they were so excited to surprise mommy themselves.

 

"Mom, my boobs are too small, see..." 

We're just livin the good life and lovin these kiddos.
