Train Ride and Story Time with Friends!

We love living in a neighborhood with so many kids the same age as our kids, and so many parents that we can call friends.  It's so fun for our boys and wonderful for us.  Especially mama.

We walk almost every day, and usually end up at a park for an hour and a half or so, with two of the twins' best friends, Nash and Logan.  They seriously love them and are always so excited to see them.  We love having friends who are willing to go on adventures with so many toddlers (and babies) in tow.  We are always making new friends, there are lots of people moving into our neighborhood, and let's face it, with little twins it's been hard for us to get out and about, but now that they are getting a bit bigger it's getting easier.

Today we walked the kids to the Trax station (there are three within walking distance of our house) and rode the train to the Draper Library for Story Time.  They had SO much fun.  It was a little hard to keep them still and quiet ant times, but we had a blast.  They sang songs, read books, and danced around.  We sat on a bench outside the library afterwards for some snacks, then headed back to the train.  The kids were so good, and napped so well after walking.  For five toddlers and a one year old, it was awesome and they listened so well.   Can't wait to see what other adventures the summer will bring now that our kids are finally getting bigger and easier to take places.

(These are all phone photos, mama really needs an upgrade in this department, thanks to our friends for forwarding your good pictures.)

Waiting for the train (they wanted their hoods up the whole walk we had to stop and put it back up every time they blew off, the wind was pretty chilly).

They don't look like they are having much fun, but they said they were.  They rode like this the whole way.

Snack Time!

Headed home!
