Easter

Easter was so fun this year.  The maniacs had so much fun.  They saw the Easter Bunny at the mall a week or so before Easter.  They loved him until he walked up to say hi and they were terrified.  They said waved and said bye through tears.  Every time we talked about him after that they said they didn't want to go see him.  They knew when we went anywhere close to the mall and made sure we knew that they didn't want to go see him.

When we told him the Easter Bunny was coming when they were sleeping, they were a little nervous until we told them that he was going to bring them a present.  We woke up and ate breakfast, cinnamon roll waffles, then went outside to find Easter Eggs.  They LOVED it.  They ran all over the yard and brought each egg back and put it in the carton.  They were so happy.  We went inside and they found their Easter Baskets.  They loved the fire engines and garbage trucks.  They got new Lightening McQueen underwear and were pretty excited, but they carried their trucks around every where all day.  We went outside and played with their new big balls and wagons.

After nap time we went to grandma's house for dinner.  We had another Easter Egg hunt and hid more eggs in grandma's back yard.  They had so much fun.  We kept just throwing them around the yard so they could pick them up and bring them back to their wagons.  It was such a fun day.
