After the party we came home, didn't really eat lunch because we had so much junk at the party, and took a nap. Daddy came home from work and as soon as we woke up, we headed to Orem to go to Pumpkin Land! We had SO much fun! Walked through a pumpkin patch and a corn maze. Saw lots of bunnies and chickens, some ducks and goats, turkeys and peacocks, and a baby cow. They had lots of tunnels to play in, that was by far their favorite part. They had some inflatable toys as well... a slide and a bounce house. Can we just say that again... BOUNCE HOUSE. Talk about heaven for two two year olds full of energy. There was another mom there who was very impressed at how well they jumped (especially Mackay) for having just turned 2. It was awesome. Then we went through the Halloween/Christmas light barn. The boys love lights, so that was great as well. As always, everyone was very impressed that we were there with twins. We let each of the boys pick out a pumpkin. They have come to love pumpkins (Nolan- bukin (sounds like bacon) Mackay- puh-Kin). They had to hold their pumpkins on the way home. Nolan dropped his and the stem broke. He's been very concerned about it. Every time you ask him if he got a pumpkin or to say pumpkin he says "I bake it" (broke it). Mama glued the stem back on and now he says "I did it!". He's so happy it's not broken anymore. We are excited to let them color or paint them. We've been having lots of fun!
Nolan isn't so sure about the animals. He warmed up to the bunnies after a while, but from a distance. Mackay was sticking his fingers through the cages, trying to touch them all. He did pet a bunny.
This is what we saw through the entire maze. They loved being able to run around!
This was their favorite part of the maze. They ran back and forth a few times.
Nolan was frequently behind Mackay yelling "Dah-day! Dah-day!"
Thing One and Thing Two... are you kidding? We HAD to get them in there!
