Our little maniacs turned two on Sunday!  They are so full of energy, so happy, and so sweet.  They repeat every thing you say to them.  This makes for some laughs.  They LOVE to run, jump, and drive.  They always have something with wheels their hands and they are always driving; on the porch, an arm, the bath tub, car seats, tables, couches, the dog, their own bodies... whatever they can find.  The jump on, off, and over everything in sight and run any time they have room.  They have become big Winnie the Pooh fans, and have recently started watching something other than Mickey and Curious George.  They watch anything with trucks.  They love balls, mostly because they love to throw everything as well.  They are 90% potty trained.  Just working on getting through distractions (toys, friends, etc) and number 2.

We visited the pediatrician the day after their birthday.  Here are their 2 year stats:

Nolan -28 pounds 4 ounces 54 percentile and 34. inches 41 percentile.
Mackay- 27 pounds 6 ounces 42 percentile and 33.5 inches 26 percentile.

They look exactly the same.  As they have grown to be a little off from each other we've been shocked to see how small a difference can mean such a large gap in percentile numbers.

They have very different personalities and LOVE each other.  If one wakes up before the other, he looks for his brother and calls to him until he wakes up.  They do everything together.  If one is running, the other follows.  The other day, they were running up and down the hall and when Nolan got distracted Mackay would start to run and turn around and call to his brother "Nunun, du bac!"  (Nolan, come back!)  Seriously, they are best friends and it's the greatest.

They don't like it when their pants are long and wrap underneath their feet.
They LOVE sockies.  Especially Mackay.
Love Mickey, Pooh, Jake (and the Neverland Pirates), Curious George, Chuck (and Friends, he's a dumptruck with friends who are all different sorts of trucks) and Thomas (trains).
They love baseball.  They love to crawl up on daddy's lap and watch with him.  They played Tee Ball for the first time at a friends house and were so completely excited about it (they got their own sets for their birthday).
We have never had a problem feeding them.  They've always been great eaters.  Nolan will eat pretty much all fruit (except grapes from WalMart).  He especially loves strawberries and watermelon.  He also eats vegetables much better than Mackay.  The kid eats peas like candy.  They love chicken nuggets, though Mackay eats these way better than Nolan.  Everything has to have sauce, either ketchup, ranch, or fry sauce.  They love being outside and ask to go out every day.  They are very good in the front yard and don't go in the street (unless we've recently walked across the street to their friend's house, they want to go back and don't understand that they need someone to go with them).
They love watching for trucks, tactors, and busses every time we leave the house and they cry when we turn away from the train tracks.  We don't often get to see the train cross, but they like to look for it.
They have discovered dirt, and they think it's awesome.  They will spend hours throwing dirt into bushes.
They chase the train across our back yard (especially Mackay) calling to it as it passes.
They love their books.  They definitely have favorites, and they are the ones about trucks and trains.
They still sleep in one crib.  It's seriously the cutest thing.  And wait for someone to come get them in the mornings.  They nap on our bed and climb down to come find us when they wake up.

Nolan had another appointment with the neurologist who wants to do another MRI.  He is not concerned about him and says that if he were going to have any issues we probably would have seen them by now, but just wants to get a clearer picture of where he is.  We will do that before he is three.  Probably by the end of this year.

We're going to cut this into a few posts, just because there are so many pictures.  Here are some of our favorites from the past few months.  (We will make a few posts to include their birthday party and their official 2 year photos and family shoot).
