Oh these crazy boys... they LOVED the snow (Nolan didn't so much the first time we took them to play in it, but was a big fan the next couple times). Every time we walked outside they had to touch it. Mackay calls it "hhno". Their favorite thing was watching Lady jump around in the snow because it was too high for her to really walk in as well. They love that dog.
We tried to do a lot of fun things with them, but they are still a little too little to care about much. We went to a tree lot and got a real Christmas Tree (mama refuses to have a fake one). They had Santa and some reindeer there. We took another picture with Santa, but the boys still didn't love him. They did however like the reindeer and loved walking through the trees. We went to the Festival of Trees and Temple Square to see the lights then to City Creek to hang out just a little longer. The lights were fun, but they were a little cold and didn't have as much fun as we were hoping they would. Uncle Ben and Aunt Carrie had a cute park by their house with little lights set up, they boys LOVED those. They could walk by and touch those. We also took them to Zoo Lights with our friends, that was a lot of fun. They enjoyed that more than any of the others... we also took them on their first carousel ride which they loved until about three quarters of the way through and we had to hold them the rest of the time.
We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas morning at home then headed to Moab to hang out with Grandpa, Grandma, Aunt Kassi, Uncle Greg, Colton, and Uncle Ty. We don't get to see them nearly enough and had a lot of fun. This year the boys got some new Mickey Mouse jammies and slippers (which they LOVE and ask to have them put on every day) on Christmas Eve and the next morning Santa had brought them some minion dolls, Marniers sweatsuits, and Mariners shirts, new shoes, little wooden blocks with Mickey and the gang on them, little books, a couple music players (to which they dance all the time),some big plastic Mickey Mouse blocks with switches and buttons on them, and a few movies: Cars, How to Train Your Dragon, and Despicable Me,
They have also discovered how to climb (especially Nolan), boxes (especially Mackay), they love giving you their toys, they LOVE to read and dance (especially Mackay although Nolan started both of these), throwing... balls, toys in the hall, anything really, playing with each other, and kisses (which we love). They are at such a fun age right now.
