Snowy Days

It's cold outside, so most days, we stay indoors.  The boys have finally started watching movies a little better (though it only lasts in 20 minute spurts) so we have watched "Woody/Buzz" ("Toy Story"), Mickey, and "The Lorax" several times over the past several weeks.

The days when it is actually snowing, seem to be the most appealing for letting the maniacs play outside.  We had another snow day, and this time, they did so much better!  We were out for about an hour (vs last time we were out for about ten minutes).  They faked falling in the snow, threw snow balls... had a ball!

There was a time when Nolan didn't like walking in the snow.  He kept asking for mommy's hand.  So... mommy sent Mackay to help him walk.  Mackay was so proud of himself.  Then he got over it and left Nolan ha ha.  As long as mommy reached our her hand toward him he walked toward it and finally got over his dislike of walking across the yard.

 Ha ha ha ha... Goofballs!

Then we came in to watch a movie and have some fruit snacks while we warmed up before lunch!  This lasted approximately... until the fruit snacks were gone ha ha.

We've always loved the snow (except for when we have to drive in it) but having kids to play in it makes it so much more fun!  Their little faces make our hearts melt.  They love it.  They still have so much to learn about why snow is even a thing and many more fun things to do in it.  It's so fun to watch them discover new things.  Even though they had snow days last year, it was something new all over again.
